Catarina Gonçalves
ABAE - Programme’s National Operator
With a degree in Sociology with expertise in Medicine and Health at University Autónoma of Lisbon, Catarina Gonçalves is, since 1998, National Coordinator of the Blue Flag Programme, at the Association Europe’s Blue Flag (ABAE) and represents the FEE (Foundation for the Environmental Education). As an Environmental Education Trainer she cooperates with several institutions to enrich specialization courses related to Public Health, Maritime Authority, Teacher’s Training and Municipalities’ employees, among others. From her Blue Flag Programme coordination activity we point out the Portuguese representation in meetings with National Operators; representative of FEE as leader country in the development of PBA (Basic Environmental Plan) in Portuguese-speaking countries; organization of annual and thematic Conferences and Seminars.
