Workshop objectives: 1. Analyze the characteristics of Sports and Nature Tourism (DTN), including aspects like history, participants and practice contexts’ social organization, allowing to link and articulate the concepts of Sport, Tourism and Leisure; 2. Understand DTN’s organic identifying strengths and weaknesses of this reality compared to others (international): political, legal and institutional framework; demand and supply; profile, duties and professionals’ training; 3. Understand the DTN’s potential for the local development sustainability and for the territories’ structuring.
Contents to be covered: 1. Sports and Nature Tourism (DTN); 2. The DTN’s demand 3. Qualification of the offer related to DTN; 4. DTN and sustainable local development.
