Filomena Sintra

Municpality of Castro Marim


She has a degree in Business Management and a post-graduation degree in Regional Economy and Local Development, University of the Algarve.
Always associated to local development, she is part of Association ODIANA – Association for the Lower Guadiana’s Development founding team, where she was officer and executive director.
She was involved in the creation of Association Terras do Baixo Guadiana, managing body of Local Action Group and was also Chief Executive and currently, Vice-President.
In 2005, she accepts the executive exclusivity as Vice-President, at the Municipality of Castro Marim, and, since then, embraces areas like Culture, Environment, Financial Management, Public Works, Administrative Modernisation, Economic Development, Community Funds, among others.
Her experiences within associations and Academic Senate lead to a path, with a lot of dream and dedication, of collective projects.
