Cláudia Ruivinho

Master degree in Environmental Engineering, University of the Algarve. She is, since 2013, senior officer at the Planning, Communication, Image and Quality Centre, at Algarve’s Tourism Board (RTA).
From her career, it points out the work within the structuring of new tourism products’ area, namely, Nature Tourism and its niches Cycling & Walking and Birdwatching, among others.
As officer of the RTA’s Investment and Development Team, she worked within Algarve’s tourism activity monitoring, participated in the preparation of the ISO standards for tourism certification and prepared the project “Selo (seal) Birdwatching Algarve”.
Within the team Algarve Tourism’s Regional Plan (PRTA), she developed the project “Algarve’s Beach Cleaning” (between 2000 and 2005) and participated in the assessment of the Algarve Tourism’s Regional Plan.
