He has a degree in Economy at the Faculty of Economy, University Nova of Lisbon (1985), Master degree in Management, at School of Economics and Management, University Técnica of Lisbon (1992) and PhD in Management, specialized in Marketing, at ISCTE, University Institute of Lisbon (2006).
Coordinator professor, at School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism (ESGHT), University of the Algarve (UAlg), within management scientific area – marketing disciplinary group.
Professor at UAlg since 1986, he already has held several managing positions, among others: Member of ESGHT’s Setting-up Committee (1989-92),
Vice-President of ESGHT’s Managing Board (1992-95), ESGHT’s Manager (2009-12), Pro-Dean (2010 e 2013-2015) and Vice-Dean
(2015-2017).
