Arouca’s Geopark – Executive Coordinator
With a degree in ECONOMY at UTAD – University of Trás os Montes e Alto Douro
Post-graduation degree in Management for Development Agents, at University Católica.
He is a researcher within areas such as “Geotourism” and “Regional Development”
He is attending a PhD in Development, Societies and Territories at UTAD.
He was Economist and project manager at the Local Development Association – ADRIMAG from 2000 to 2008.
Since 2008 he is executive coordinator of AGA –Arouca Geopark Association, entity responsible for the management of the classified area Arouca – UNESCO’s World Geopark.
He is a member of the European Geoparks Network Coordination Committee and International Assessor of Global Geoparks for UNESCO.
